This dog was sooo tiny - you lose perspective here. But it is amazing, all these people that walk their dogs around the middle of the city. And it's only the best for this one. Check out the Louis Vitton leash. But apparently this "we love dogs and we take them everywhere" is a real Europe thing (and now that I come to think of it, in the US as well - I think that they got it from Europe). When I was in Frankfurt, going to Hannover, there were women who were sitting in the departure lounge with their dogs and I couldn't work out what they were going to do with them. But they had these nice, big, mesh bags that they put both of them in when it was time to board. And apparently this is acceptable. In Hannover you can even buy train tickets for your pets and my 'host mother' takes their dog to work every Wednesday. Sorry, but I think this is just a little strange.
