...Bath. And right near it (you can see it on the map) is Bathampton and you know how posh you are depending on how you pronounce it. Me being the uncultured gal that I am would say Bath with the 'a' making an 'ar' sound and the 'a' in hampton making a short vowel sound. However, if you come from bluer blood you would actually pronounce the 'a' sounds the other way around, how weird is that?! Well you learn something new everyday even if it is useless pieces of information!!!
