And English class was an interesting phenomenon. I became the resident English expert because I am a native speaker. I had to read out in class and was asked about all sorts of acceptable grammar and words. It was a little scary because I felt very responsible. And if you know anything about my correct grasp on the English language... Well let's put it this way, I wouldn't be picking me to certify your English!
